Hardscape Foreman

Job Description:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Responsible for working alongside AND leading a hardscape crew. Foreman position will manage a crew in productivity and efficiency, thorough planning, coordinating and supervising projects. Communicate with customers, designers, and owners with applicable information of crew activity and site condition reports. Reading plans, measuring from plans, laying out material, installing material with the highest amount of quality, taking pictures of projects and texting, emailing and uploading to Dropbox.

Qualifications:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Experience, enthusiasm, valid DL, clean records, general construction, equipment operations and hardscape experience a must. Must have 5 years’ experience in landscape construction with some leadership experience.  Must be able to drive a truck and trailer, and have ability to operate machinery such as dingo, bobcat, tillers, bed edgers, etc. In depth horticulture knowledge and Spanish a plus. Candidate will have core values of integrity, honesty and enjoys having fun in a team environment with a growing family owned business.

Landscape/Maintenance Foreman:

Crew Technicians

Job Description: Responsible for completing the installation of landscape and hardscape materials following a plan and your supervisor’s instructions in an efficient manner. Follow employee policy, use company equipment, and help with maintaining a clean and organized truck. Communicate daily on project with landscape crew supervisor.

General Responsibilities: Direct any questions from the customer to the crew supervisor, appropriate management, or designer. Install landscape and hardscape designs from plans. Organize the job site each day in regards to clean up, safety, and storage of materials. Build quality into each aspect of the project. Make sure all materials are neatly stored at the office, daily. Manage all tools and equipment assigned to you and your crew. Follow project plan and project work given by supervisor. Maintain a clean, neat and organized truck. Make sure trucks are loaded in the afternoon for the next morning. Make sure you have everything you need for the job. Unload debris daily and load each afternoon for the following day. Perform truck inspections daily and equipment inspections weekly. Follow employee policies. Treat fellow employees and equipment with respect. Maintain a positive teamwork environment with your fellow coworkers. Perform any and all tasks as directed by management. Work hard every day; make the best use of your time.

Landscape Designer

Job Description: Experienced landscape designer or design assistant who is detail oriented, can specify materials, complete takeoffs, review materials needed for estimates and takeoffs, measure sites and grades, input measurements and other details as needed into Vectorworks, create estimates and proposals, and 3d renderings. At the least, we need a Vectorworks technician, but prefer an experienced landscape designer.  Full-time or flexible part-time, depending on your needs.

General Responsibilities: Must have Vectorworks Landmark experience, 2D and 3D renderings. Creating worksheets and new plants in Vectorworks. Measuring jobs and topography/grades and inputting to computer. Detail-oriented, construction details, takeoffs. Knowledge of how jobs are installed. Estimating and creating proposals. Plant and material knowledge a plus!
