Michael Mueller is an experienced operations manager and horticulture professional. He is a native of Silver Spring, Maryland and attended the University of Maryland School of Horticulture. He then moved to Kentucky, where he has managed landscape crews for more than 18 years and also became Vice-President of the then largest nursery in Kentucky. Early in life, he realized his passion for the outdoors and has been in the landscape and horticulture industry since high school. He is ICPI certified for pavers and hardscape installations is also certified in Sustainable Site Pavements (permeable pavers). He has worked in all aspects of the green industry and has extensive experience and knowledge in maintenance, drainage, tree spading, and landscape and hardscape installation. Michael is responsible for overseeing all large projects and subcontracted work from start to finish to ensure they are completed with the highest level of quality.
On a day to day basis, he oversees production crews and projects, prepares commercial bids, prepares maintenance estimates, and a myriad of other responsibilities to get the job done. He also serves on a committee for Ducks Unlimited (a group committed to preserving wetlands) and is on the Board of Directors for the American Red Cross. In 2013, he graduated from the Leadership Frankfort program, as well as The Frankfort Police Academy program.
